My Travel Story
For the past 15 years, I've dedicated myself to teaching children. My passion led me to start a tutoring center last September, focusing on helping children with learning disabilities like ADHD, trauma, and other challenges. This journey became even more personal for me because I have a daughter who battles a rare brain disorder. I understand the pain and challenges that come with these conditions, both as a teacher and as a parent.
Sadly, economic difficulties forced me to close down the tutoring center here in South Africa. It was a difficult decision, but my determination to make a difference for young children and provide a better life for my own daughter and my children remained unwavering.
During this challenging period, we faced financial hardships, and my priority became providing for my family, especially my constantly ill child. It was during this time that I discovered the opportunity to work and teach abroad, thanks to programs that place educators like me in teaching positions around the world.
