My Travel Story

This trip is a very special one for me. I have dreamed of going to Germany for a very long time and the dream is finally becoming a reality. For 3 years, I supported the Germany pavilion at Epcot and got to work with some amazing cast members. And now I get to go visit not only their home country but a country near and dear to my family as well. In preparation I have learning or at least trying to learn some German for over 290 days and I am not stopping now! I am so excited and I hope to share my adventures with you all. When I was a little girl my Uncle Tom and Aunt Pat were stationed in Germany and sent me dolls from different countries and one of my favorites was one that was dressed in a dirndl and holding a basket of flowers. Now I will get a chance to travel to this amazing country of its origin and explore!

  • It's The Final Countdown!

    It's the final countdown!
    While this is the only Germany I have been to yet... it has made me sooo excited for the Journey that is so close. Over the past weeks I have had the joy of reconnecting with so many of my former German cast and made some new German friends as well that have shared their insights about their home land and I am so blessed to make this trip. I am hoping and praying I make it to my goal. Thank you to all who have helped and who still are planning on helping, the end of this Fund my travel campaign is coming to an end very quickly.
