My Travel Story

To those who read this,

As I'll try to make this short as possible...
   My name is William and I'm 33 from NY. The last year has greatly impacted my life as it has for many. Through the year of covid my family and I did everything we could to keep my parents safe. Unfortunately a month before vaccines started rolling out my father was diagnosed with covid and although he put on one hell of a fight he passed away march 24th of this year after being placed on the ventilator . It took a traumatic toll on us all and I'm having trouble coping still... The only man that always believed in me and stood by my side. My best friend that I never fully knew he was until I realized I'll never see him again....

   I've lost alot of friends over the past year, family isnt as close as it used to be, my father passed away, I lost a decent job right after losing him, and all my savings went towards paying off things and keeping myself afloat while getting back on my feet.

 My father always told me to go back to Universal Studios in Orlando to relax. Told me "life isn't so serious that you can't take some time to yourself and be a child again." 

Unfortunately I don't see myself being able to for a long time. I'm sure there is more deserving fundraising profiles out there... I just wish I could put into words how badly I need to get away from everything right now. My depression and anxiety have just been eating my alive and life just hasn't been kind lately. Vacations were always a form of therapy for me to help cope, readjust, and go back into life feeling a little more prepared than before.
