My Travel Story

My name is Teodor. I started studying Buddhist philosophy in 2014. Since then, my mind has been shaped towards the correct perception of reality. During this time, I have done a few more wholesome activities like:
  • volunteering for 1 year for mental disabled adults
  • visiting old people s places
  • visiting institutionalized children s places
  • starting and running an educational NGO to support the young generation about the impacts that our daily food choices have on our planet (environment, animals and our health)

If you read this, we both probably have a common wish: to eliberate ourselves of suffering for the benefit of all sentient beings. With this intention, I humbly invite you to support my trip to Dharamsala, India for teachings with Dalai Lama.

From the total costs of €2350, at this moment there is needed €1550 more to cover all the costs until the depart, on September 7th.

Why am I asking?
In the past  years I have been working either as a volunteer or on a minimim wage. Therefore, I have not been able to save as much money as it is needed for the trip, which was planned about 4 years ago.

The intention is to gain better insight which will guide me in my work who would have a bigger and better local impact on the education of our Romanians' young generation on all sentient beings (animals, non-human animals and our environment)

This will have an impact on my work by: insights on how to make a bigger impact on our beneficiaries' education: teenagers and young students (who would make more sustainable and ethical food choices thus spare sentient beings lives), work ethics: as administrator to pay our colleagues with a proper ammount, give more value to our providers, collaborators, partners and beneficiaries.

This trip is the most important for me because it connects me to the source. Dalai Lama represents for me the human form of Avalokiteshvara, the deity representing all Buddhas.

Here are the detailed plan of the joyrney:
Sept 7 - flight Bucharest to Delhi
Sept 8 - local flight Delhi - Dharamshala, accommodation, relaxation
Sept 9 - visit Dharamshala - Bagsu waterfall and 2 temples
Sept 10 - Karmapa and Norbulinka monastery
Sept 11 - Tashi Jong monastery
Sept 12 - day dedicated for the permits for the Dalai Lama and the Tse Tsho Ling monastery; if our group form Romania gets permisions and we will have a chance to privately greet The Dalai Lama, I will ask His Holiness for blessings to each of you who have contributed to this trip
Sept 13 and September 14 - pujas- Namgyal main temple - Dalai Lama temple
Sept 15 and 16 - Teachings with the Dalai Lama - translated into all international languages
Sept 17 - road to Rewalsar, visits to monasteries and the sacred cave of Guru Rinpoche
Sept 18 - back to Dharamshala
Sept 19 - local flight to Delhi, relaxation
Sept 20 - visit Delhi - important temples
Sept 21 - flight back to Bucharest
