My Travel Story

I've been working since I was 14 and a half. While in university, served as a resident assistant and worked for the City of Raleigh all while earning two degrees.

After graduating, I spent 12 years dedicated to the City of Raleigh. I transitioned out of community work into multi family housing. As I moved into real estate, I worked for four years to advance to Property Management.

Now, as I approach my 35th birthday this December, I realize I haven’t taken any time for myself to just live and relax. I've worked through COVID, I am raising two wonderful boys, managing an autoimmune disease that has caused me to go completely gray before 35, and I'm also studying for my CAM certification and Real Estate License, which I aim to earn in spring 2025.

To help fund a week of relaxation in Puerto Rico, I’ve created this fundraiser. I chose Puerto Rico because I studied Spanish for nine years and have always appreciated Hispanic culture, especially the food. It would be a meaningful experience that I would cherish because I tend to focus on work and providing for my family.
