Hello, I'm Mio. This trip will allow me to reunite with my daughter after six years, and it will also help me expand my experience in the vegan culinary field. I will be assisting a talented vegan chef in Japan, catering for 150 people. I've worked in vegan restaurants and health food industries in the U.S. for 19 years, I see this as an opportunity to support a meaningful event in Japan and gain new insights to bring back to my community in United States. It is about rebuilding the bond with my child and being present for her in a way I haven't been able to for years. Additionally, assisting with a large vegan catering event allows me to contribute to a cause I believe in, making this trip both personally and professionally meaningful.
