I'm reaching out to share an exciting opportunity and ask for your support in making it a reality.  I have been granted the honor of serving as an elected member of the AIR Board of Directors and participating in the 2024 AIR Forum Annual Conference organized by the Association for Institutional Research (AIR) in Denver, Colorado, from May 26th to May 31st.  My responsibilities extend beyond mere attendance; I am dedicated to leading discussions, providing professional development opportunities, and representing our community's interests with integrity and foresight.

Initially, my employer had committed to covering the expenses for this invaluable opportunity. However, due to recent budget constraints, they are unable to confirm their support at this time, leaving me in a challenging position.

As a passionate advocate for education, leadership, and well-being, I am volunteering to lead a crucial discussion at the Forum titled "Balancing Data and Wellbeing: Strategies for Self-Care and Success." This discussion aims to empower professionals to navigate the demanding landscape of our work while prioritizing our health and overall well-being. I believe that fostering a culture of self-care is essential for personal and professional growth, and this forum provides a platform to share insights and strategies that can positively impact countless individuals within higher education.

However, attending the AIR Forum comes with associated costs, and I find myself in need of your support to make this opportunity a reality. Your contribution will directly assist in covering essential expenses such as lodging, conference registration, travel fares, and airport parking.
