Hello everyone!

I don’t know how this platform works, but at least I’ll try to use it and fulfill one of my dreams.

I met a man on the internet 10 years ago, I know it sounds like long time without knowing each other and in fact, it is. However, I hope to explain the reason below.

I met him on facebook, where he expressed his love for me, and we began a romantic relationship. From there, we dreamed of one day meeting in person.

He had a normal job using AutoCAD to create 3D models. A few years later, he worked in customer service at a call center where English is spoken. At that time, he was bilingual. While working, he also began studying mechatronics engineering at a private university in his country, sending me photos of both his workplace and his university.

He earned a decent income; however, due to the stress from both work and study, he became ill and needed surgery. The operation was somewhat expensive, forcing him to postpone his studies after completing just one year. Once he recovered, he sought another job and resumed his studies. Unfortunately, he was fired from that job, but honestly, he was tired of it because it was more stressful than his previous position. He found another job that paid less but was slightly less stressful. However, it barely covered his living expenses, as he lives only with his older brother.

To reiterate, he lost his job again, and this time he didn’t have much money saved to pay for his studies. He had to use his savings and take out a loan to finish the school year.

This loan has been a burden for him lately, preventing him from saving money. Working in a call center every day has become increasingly difficult for him, as he has primarily worked just to pay off the loan debt.

The worst part is that he took out this loan during the COVID-19 pandemic, which made finding a job afterwards even more challenging. Although he had several work-from-home opportunities, the hours required by call center companies were excessively high, and he struggled to maintain that lifestyle.

Recently, he has found it even harder to work in a call center, which is why he has been unemployed. There are no good jobs that pay enough to cover his normal monthly expenses and the debt he currently has.

This is why he has been unable to save money for me to visit his country or for him to come to mine (although it is much more expensive and difficult for him to travel from Guatemala to Mexico).

I haven’t had well-paying jobs either, so I haven’t been able to save for travel. Most of my income has gone toward my studies, although my parents have been supporting me with my university expenses lately. Whenever I find a job that fits my college schedule, I take it, even if it only helps cover other accumulated expenses, such as college materials.

You might be wondering why I am interested in him and not someone from my country. The reason is a bit complex, but I will try to explain. He has shown me many times how much he loves me. When we see each other on video calls, we enjoy each other's company. We talk about many things and share several interests. Over the years, we have gotten to know each other very well—he knows what I like to eat, and I know what he likes. We enjoy the same music and dislike the same songs, for example. Additionally, I have always wanted a boyfriend from his country because I have always been fond of it.

I’ve met several guys from my country, and honestly, I haven’t liked any of them. They have several qualities I don’t like in a man. But he has everything I like; he even seems sweet to me because he thinks the same about me.

That is why I am asking for your help to finance my trip so that I can meet him. I hope that those who assist me will receive updates about my journey when I meet him. I would love for you to know the details of my time with him; you might find it exciting to see us together.
