Help me marry to have my residence permit and get a job.
My Travel Story
Upon arriving in Spain, we were filled with hope and expectations of a promising future. However, we soon encountered a series of difficulties that put our strength as a couple and our ability to overcome to the test. My husband, a talented handball player, suffered a setback when he had an epileptic seizure, leaving him debilitated and unable to work as before. The expenses we have for his epilepsy medication are very high, at 100 euros, meaning that out of our 750 euro income, we already allocate 100 euros a month for his medication.
Meanwhile, I was already battling internal struggles with my mental health, fighting the depression that had plagued me since Brazil. The move to a new country and the unexpected challenges only exacerbated my condition, and soon I found myself also facing physical health problems, such as a herniated disc, which limited my ability to work.
With our financial difficulties mounting, we found ourselves in a desperate situation. My husband found a modest income playing handball, but the money barely covers our basic expenses, let alone our dreams, like the marriage we so desire.
Now, we are at a crucial crossroads in our lives. Despite all the obstacles, we are determined to finally formalize our union, a crucial step to ensuring the stability and future we so desire. However, accumulated debts and a lack of financial resources prevent us from taking this important step.
The distance between the city where we are currently and the location where we must hold our civil wedding only adds another layer of complexity to this already difficult situation. With each mile traveled, we feel the weight of our hopes and dreams becoming harder to reach, next month we have to live the place we all live in and my husband will not have any income so we don't know what to do or where to go. We don't have money to pay our rent...
That's why I'm here, humbly asking for your help. Each contribution we receive will bring us a little closer to our goal of holding our wedding and allowing my husband to obtain the much-needed Spanish residence card, which will open doors to a more stable and promising future for both of us.
Our situation is urgent and desperate, but we still hold hope that, with the support of those around us, we can overcome these challenges and build a better life for ourselves. We sincerely appreciate any help you can offer and promise to honor it by working tirelessly to build a dignified and prosperous future.
With gratitude and hope,
Francys and her husband
