My Travel Story

Had a stroke 2 years ago, and want to spend time with Mom and Bella roadtripping slow hwys seeing smalll towns, interacting with locals, and trying small cafes along the way. I will be doing this on weekends, and when work allows, staying at very reasonable hotels and keeping a small budget. My Mom is a minister and it seems we are always meeting people along they way that need a friend or prayer. Bella has never met a stranger and loves car rides and riding on my motorcycle as well. (We may take some trips on the Goldwing bike. If Mom isn't available that roadtrip. Bella is a generator of happiness and love and is always ready to go.  I've realized life is short and all my life I have just worked hard and long hours. Trying to slow down and appreciate my Mom, my loving Bella, and the things and people that really matter before they are gone. My Dad passed 17 years ago, He was from the Jonesboro AR area, and I have Uncles and Aunts about a days drive away, and I would like to roadtrip their direction as to visit each one of them too. I have bought a very cute Nash Metropolitan, that I think will help us along the way in meeting people. It's smaller than a Volkswagen and has a top speed of 75, so we will be taking the smaller, 55 mph hwys, and just enjoying the scenery. Thank you for your time in reading this. You never seen a tombstone that says "I wish I would have worked more."
