My Travel Story

Hello, I'm Violet, a sophomore at GW, and this summer I'm going on a three-week volunteer program to Costa Rica where I will be teaching English in an after-school program to children. I will become certified in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and will also be taking Spanish classes while I'm there. This will give me a lot of experience in many things I'm passionate about like Language, childcare, and travel. This program will also be very good for resumes and college applications. I am very excited about this trip and I hope it will help to give me life experience and tons of knowledge for the rest of my life and educational career. This trip does come with fees and expenses such as the plane there and back and the cost of housing and food as I will be staying with a host family.
