My Travel Story

Hello, I’m Aurora, a 21-year-old Industrial Design student and artist with a dream close to my heart. Two years ago, I earned a full scholarship for my academic excellence and achievements. Since then, my life has revolved around intense study, creativity, and responsibility. While I’m proud of my journey, the demands of university and personal challenges have left little space for celebrating life’s precious moments. However, I should graduate in a year and half, so I can finally take things a little slower.

But before continuing, I want you, who are reading me, to consider whether to help me, I don't want you to give me money just like that, I genuinely want to sell my art, so I will be making digital portraits of the donors, whether it be of them, of their loved one or even their pets. I want to earn my money properly, and genuinely doing it well, showing off my talent, my art.

For the past two years, I haven’t been able to celebrate my birthday for all the work upon me. Last year was especially difficult, as I mourned the loss of a beloved family member who passed away on February 29th and was in pain and sickness days before his passing.

This February, I’ll be turning 21, and I want to honor this milestone in a meaningful way: by exploring the beauty of my island with the people I love most. My parents, who are elderly, have been my greatest supporters and the foundation of my strength. I want to create a moment they’ll cherish forever. Joining us would be my partner, who has been a source of unwavering support through life’s challenges. We still don't know what place to visit, but they are helping me with the planifications, and what I do know is that I would like to do some domestic tourism to continue discovering the beautiful destinations of my country, especially in the mountains or coast side.

This journey isn’t just about celebrating my birthday, it’s about healing, reconnecting, and sharing joy with those who matter most. It’s not easy for me to ask for help like this, as I know how much my parents already do for me. I’m working hard toward my goals, and I don’t want to add any extra weight on their shoulders. However, as a full-time student who contributes to my family through my art, saving for this trip has been impossible.

Your support would help cover transportation, accommodations, and meals, allowing me to give my parents and loved one this special experience. It would be more than just a trip, it would be a celebration of resilience, love, and the beauty of shared moments.
