My Travel Story

I remember being ten when I lived in Palestine, and my parents were watching the news about the latest mistle launch on Ghaza. I was scared, but at the same time lucky--I lived closer to Ramallah so I would be safe, of course. Though ever since I moved to the United States again, I never forgot the images I saw on the tv screen. Because of that, I've always wanted to go back home--but instead of going to see my family, I want to help change the world.

I've wanted to do this since I was fourteen, when I first learned of different programs to volunteer and help all around the world--and decided to make it my whole mission. Finally, I decided to do it now that I am graduating with my bachelors degree at twenty. The only problem is that I still work a University student job that hardly pays me enough to have a decent savings. I've been working as many hours as I can (though, my hours are limited), and even doing writing commissions whenever I get the chance. I bake as well, though usually my baking creations are donated to a refugee program that I support and volunteer for. 

I have plans to change the world in every way I possibly can, and every day its something I strive for whether its by donating money/food, or spreading smiles and kindness.

Please, help me achieve my dream by May! It would mean the absolute world to me.
