My Travel Story

I was accepted into a course at Warren Wilson College that I have the opportunity to travel to Cuba. The course will take place during the upcoming fall semester and the trip will take place during the second half of my winter break in January. During the course, I will prepare research and put together work folders with everything that has to do with Cuba. While we are in the country, we will have different guests specific to the themes that we have cultivated throughout the class. We also have the opportunity to pair up with another student to stay with host families during our time there. This class is something that fits a lot of my interests, but understandably given the travel, the price of the course is a bit steep. I hate asking people for money and it makes me feel even more uncomfortable knowing all the good causes you could be donating to, but unfortunately this will be the only way I'll be able to pay for this class.
