My Travel Story

In January 2018 I will be travelling to Shanghai, China for a criminology internship at one of China's largest law firms. This internship is an amazing cultural experience as much as it is educational. 

I chose to intern abroad in Shanghai as part of my criminology course to extend my knowledge in the field, gain a better understanding of worklife in China, and grow my future job prospects. I am very passionate about criminal law and hope to help my community through youth justice or criminal investigations (I'm still abit indecisive). 

I hope this trip will allow me to grow as a person working within this field and become a knowledgeable asset to the criminal justice system. I believe that throwing myself into the deep end by working in a completely different environment it will open my eyes to a whole new world of criminology and allow me to gain a better understanding of global issues, not only in regards to crime but also social issues outside of Australia. 

By funding my intern abroad you are not only helping me to become that little bit closer to my dream career but also are allowing me to grow and assist the criminal justice system in hiring ethical and knowledgeable criminologists. I am  passionate about criminal justice and will be doing everything I can, for myself and Australia, to ensure the future of the legal system is prosperous and gains rexpect world wide.
