My Travel Story

Hi, I’m Julia!
I’ve been given the opportunity to volunteer abroad for a month this December, working with both people and animals in the community — making a difference through action and connection. This is truly a bucket list trip for me, and I’m beyond grateful and excited to experience it.

I’ve spent a fair share of time giving back in my hometown of Waterford, Connecticut, and while studying in Savannah, Georgia. I am now ready to expand my horizons, grow, and gain new perspectives in a new part of the world.

I’m asking for support from my friends, family, and community to help make this dream possible. I’m currently raising funds to cover flight costs and other travel-related expenses, and truly, any help means the world to me.

I’m so excited for this journey and I look forward to sharing the experience with you all when I return. Thank you so much for your support.
