Support me to Teach Physics!
My Travel Story
Supporting the Next Generation of Physics Leaders
As a passionate Physics teacher with 10 years of experience, I've witnessed firsthand the excitement and curiosity that Physics sparks in high school students. However, I've also seen how the lack of qualified teachers can hinder their ability to pursue careers in this field.
To address this gap, I've secured an offer for a PGCE Physics Teacher Training program at the University of Greenwich, UK, starting in September 2025. This program comes with a bursary from the Department of Education, covering tuition and living expenses. However, the bursary payments begin in October, leaving a two-month funding gap.
To overcome this hurdle, I'm seeking financial support to cover the following expenses:
1. Initial deposit: £300
2. Immigration Health Surcharge: £1,200
3. Visa fee: £490
I've managed to save enough for my flight ticket and living expenses until October. Your contribution will help bridge the remaining financial gap, enabling me to focus on my training and become a more effective teacher.
By supporting my journey, you'll be investing in the future of Physics education and empowering the next generation of leaders in this field. I'm grateful for any contribution, big or small, and look forward to making a meaningful impact in the lives of my students.
Thank you for considering my request!
Sincerely,
Ezekiel Kenechukwu.
