Won the European trip of a lifetime! Sort of
My Travel Story
So what's included on my trip is, my room, food on the ship, and the majority of transportation. Not included, which I'm paying for with the money I saved, is crew gratuities (automatic charge of $17 a day), and internet for 1 device on the ship (works out to about $12 a day) so I can keep in touch with family back home and possibly earn some money through social media.
I was working around the clock doing doordash to save money for this trip. Unfortunately a month before leaving I was in a bad car accident, and my car was no longer able to be driven and was totaled. That greatly decreased the amount of money I was able to save. I was able to pay for all my airfare (3 flights) and a couple hostels for my 6 days on land.
What I'm looking to get help with. Shore excursions/experiences in port. I'm going to 55 ports, as it stands right now, I've been to 1 and didn't spend a penny, also didn't do anything. I don't have a single thing booked to do or see anywhere I'm going. It feels like such a wasted opportunity to come to these places but not be able to leave the walkable port area. I'm going to some of the most amazing places in the world, but still won't be able to really see or experience them. I'm not looking for a lot, just enough to pay for cheap transportation, maybe a local specialty snack, entrance fees to parks and museums. The things that will allow me to really experience where I'm going.
I'm going to make the most of this trip either way
