HELP FUND MY TRIP TO CANADA
Orphaned in crisis-torn NW Cameroon, I'm on the brink of dropping out of school. Desperate to escape violence & poverty, I dream of a new life in Canada, where I can support myself & community. Help me flee & fund my education.
My name is Bonekeh Richard Derick Nomboh, and I'm a young Cameroonian from the Northwest region. My life has been a constant struggle, but things took a devastating turn in January 2025 when I lost my father. His passing left a gaping void in my life, and the responsibilities he carried now rest on my shoulders.

Living in the Northwest region of Cameroon is a daily challenge. The ongoing crisis has ravaged our community, leaving destruction, death, and despair in its wake. As a young person, I'm supposed to be in school, building a future for myself, but the harsh reality is that education is a luxury few can afford here.

Despite the difficulties, I've managed to stay in school, but my father's demise has made it even harder. With no stable income, I'm on the brink of dropping out. The thought of abandoning my education is heartbreaking, but I see it as an inevitable fate unless something changes.

The situation in my region is dire. Jobs are scarce, and insecurity is rampant. People are killed daily, and the sound of gunfire has become a familiar melody. I've lost count of the number of friends and family members I've buried. The trauma and stress are overwhelming, and I often wonder if there's a way out.

That's when Canada comes to mind. I've always been fascinated by the country's reputation for safety, stability, and opportunity. I dream of moving to Canada, where I can start anew, pursue my education, and build a better life for myself. I envision a future where I can support myself and my community back home, helping to alleviate the suffering and poverty that plagues us.

But, I need help to make this dream a reality. I'm reaching out to kind-hearted individuals and organizations to support my trip to Canada. Your contribution will go towards my travel expenses, education, and settling into my new life.

I'm not just asking for financial assistance; I'm asking for a chance to live, to learn, and to grow. I'm asking for the opportunity to break free from the shackles of poverty and violence that have held me back for so long.
