My Travel Story

My husband, Eugene, and I met right before the pandemic shut the world down. We managed to get married in a small ceremony of 25 close friends and family last June 2020. We were unable to go on a honeymoon at the time due to travel restrictions and a lack of funds. We are coming up on our one-year anniversary and it's been a tough first year of marriage. Eugene has a shoulder injury, which has kept him from working, and he is going in for surgery at the end of April 2021. It is our dream to get to have a honeymoon this summer and neither of us have ever been to Hawaii. We have experienced a lot of financial hardship due to his being out of work for COVID (he's a chef), on top of the shoulder injury he's been dealing with. I am a high school teacher in a low-income district working with socially disadvantaged kids. We would greatly appreciate any help you can give so we can have our dream honeymoon in Hawaii.
