My Travel Story

I have been presented with the oppurtunity of a life time to travel to Japan to not only immerse myself in the culture and explore, but as a theatre student, I'm also given the oppurtunity to learn about Japanese traditional theatre by watching performances and attending workshops. The only barrier that I am facing is cost. Financial aid won't help as it is only a short term trip (10 days), and that was my biggest hope. Scholarships are only looking for students who will be studying abroad for more than 14 days. I plan to work as much as I possibly can when I arrive at school this fall, but with my 16 hour class load and the demand that comes with being a musical theatre major, the probability of working enough hours to cover necesscities while also having extra to put aside for the trip is very unlikely. 

One of my biggest hopes while attending university is to study theatre abroad, even if just for a short while. I've never been able to travel internationally, and it has always been a dream of mine; please help make it a reality! Literally anything helps.
