My Travel Story
I hope this message finds you well! I’m excited to share something truly special with you.
As many of you know, I’ve been an educator for 28 years—most of those teaching 6th grade Ancient Civilizations and Language Arts. Every year, my students are captivated by the incredible places we study, from the myths of Mount Olympus to the ruins of the Parthenon. And every year, they dream of seeing those places in real life.
Well… we’re finally making that dream a reality!
Through a partnership with EF Tours, we are planning a 9-day educational trip to Greece in the summer of 2026. This adventure will take learning beyond the classroom and allow students to experience the rich history, vibrant culture, and breathtaking sights of Greece firsthand.
Our goal is to bring 24 middle school students on this once-in-a-lifetime journey. For many, this will be their first time traveling, first time on a plane, first time using a passport, and first time spending several nights away from home. It's more than a trip—it's a pivotal step in growing up, gaining independence, and seeing the world through new eyes.
We believe that every student deserves the opportunity to broaden their horizons in this way. But we need your help to make it happen.
