Family of six has never been able to have a family vacation
My Travel Story
Thank you for reading my campaign. My desire is simple. I really wish to provide our family a nice family vacation all together before our oldest leaves for a university next year. We have a family of six. We have never been able to take a family vacation trip all together! When our oldest were young we managed to get two vacations in, but since our two youngest were born we have not been able to enjoy any. We have been unlucky in trying to find a van to fit our family to even take the smallest road trips in. Through the last three years we have made three attempts and when the final time resulted in obtaining one, the transmission blew six months into getting it. If we have to go anywhere far away together, we have to rent something big enough to carry all of us. This has been a big issue in planning anything. Like so many Covid hit us hard. We have spent the last few years trying to repair everything that it changed in our lives. It has been a process. Our oldest is currently based at a community college located close on a football scholorship. He has one more year and has already been in touch with a few schools that are out of state. I do not know what the next few years will bring him, but I know he is determined. I would love to be able to take our family on our one and only trip all together, before he leaves to begin building his own life. We have been through a lot as a family and I would love for us to be able to spend time together seeing things. The beach in particular! The older children still remember the memories we made when they were younger. The younger children are right at the age that they will also be able to have memories to look back on. This would mean so much to my family and me to be able to show them more than just what our area has to offer. While always grateful for the life that we have and have built, it would be a huge dream to be able to take them to see new exciting things all together...while we are still all together at home.
