My Travel Story

I have been accepted into a course at Warren Wilson College that has the opportunity to travel to Cuba. The course will take place during the upcoming fall smester and the travel will happen during the latter half of my winter break in January. While in the course, we will be preparing research projects and compiling portfolios of work with topics that fuel our own interests based in things realting to Cuba. While in the country, we will be having guest lecturers specific to the topics we have cultivated throughout the class. We also get the opportunity of pairing with one other student to saty with host families during our time there. This class is something that fits so many of my interests but understandably given the travel, the course fee is a little steep. I hate asking people for money and it makes me even more uncomfortable knowing all the good causes you could be donating to, but unfortunately this is going to be the only way I'll be able to afford this class.
