My Travel Story

Please bare with me as I've never done something like this before. Before I go further into details, this is a fundraiser for a single mother that was affected by the pandemic trying to get back home to be with her son & family for the holidays. I'll give you a short background; coming from a small town in MO, I struggled to find a steady career so I could provide for my son and I. I was given an opportunity to come to Texas to attend college and get some experience under my belt while saving money up to get back home. After graduating with a Business Administration degree, I settled in as an independent contractor (as an Office Manager) for a few local construction companies. I was finally where I needed to be financially eighteen months later and started planning my move back home. I'm one of those people that plans for the absolute worst in any situation. I never imagined a pandemic with such severe outcomes. The light at the end of the tunnel had faded with such ferocity. I was left jobless, quarantined in Texas and forced to use the money from my savings to survive. I missed another of his first day of school, picture day, Halloween and Thanksgiving. Now I'm PRAYING for a Christmas Miracle so I don't miss my son & I's most favorite holidays together! I understand a lot of families are struggling right now and this is a lot to ask.. But I've got to try. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read over my story. The pictures you see below are a few of the amazing memories my son & I created when we got to visit each other. You would be making a Momma's Boy incredibly happy and next year, we'd be able to look back at new pictures of the memories from a Christmas Miracle you made possible. Words couldn't ever properly relay the gratitude I have towards anyone who could provide hope for us. Happy Holidays.
