I'm currently 17 and autistic, I'm in my senior year of high school and waiting to graduate in June. My plans for after high school are to move to Canada, which has been my dream destination since childhood, however my mother has different plans: She thinks that because I'm autistic, I'm "too stupid" to function in the real world, and therefore stay with her my whole life and never become independent, I'm starting this campaign because ,y mother won't even let me get a job either. I don't want to live this life, because I know that if I choose that life, all my young years will be wasted in staying with a controlling mother. That's why I want to raise money to start fresh in Canada shortly after I turn 18, because I know that once I hit that age, my mother can't force me to stay, as that can cause legal issues. I hope anybody who reads this understands my. situation
