My Travel Story

Because of the current conflict, our home was destroyed, leaving us with nothing but memories amidst the chaos of war. With each passing day, the reality of our situation weighs heavily on us. I spend my days sifting through the rubble, salvaging what little remains of our former life, while my wife tirelessly searches for work to sustain us. Our little children, once sheltered from harm, now cling to us for comfort in the uncertainty of our new reality. As a Jewish family, the challenges we face are compounded by the need to rebuild not just our home, but also our sense of security and belonging. The harsh truth is that we need emergency funds to rebuild our lives and get back home as we are trapped in Egypt. Despite the despair, we find solace in the kindness of strangers who offer support in our darkest hour. And so, with determination born of necessity, we face each day with hope, knowing that rebuilding our lives will be a long and arduous journey, but one we undertake together, with the belief that even amidst the ruins, a brighter future awaits.
