Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

I am reaching out to you with an exciting opportunity that will not only enrich my academic journey but also deepen my understanding of the world around us. I have been accepted into UGA’s Croatia Maymester Abroad program in 2024, a unique exploration of Croatian heritage, blending the past and present, the tangible and intangible.

About the Program:
The Croatia Maymester Abroad program is designed to delve into the intricate layers of Croatian heritage, uncovering its storied past, its vibrant present, and most importantly, its people. The program is set to employ an interdisciplinary approach to exploring heritage, centered around the intersections of architecture, classical civilization, and historic preservation. Courses will be led by faculty members from the University of Georgia, representing the Franklin College Classics Department and the College of Environment and Design.There is an emphasis on student fieldwork, active exploration of Croatian culture and heritage, and to engage directly with Croatian culture and the arts.

I am seeking your support to make this incredible experience a reality. Your contribution will directly fund my airfare, accommodation, and other travel expenses ensuring that I can fully immerse myself in this enriching academic and cultural experience. I will also be receiving additional funding for program fees through the Georgia Hope scholarship.
