My Travel Story

I've always dreamed of traveling, but finances havent always been on my side. Im the first in my family to go to college, the first to be on a plane. I am from Alabama originally. My goal is to change the trajecotry of my family!  Sardinia, Italy, has called to me in a way no other place has. There’s something about its ancient culture, the rugged landscapes, and the way of life there that feels like it’s exactly what I need, both personally and professionally.

As a writer working on a film, I believe that a trip to Sardinia would be more than just a visit. It would be an immersion that could bring new depth to my work, exposing me to a culture and landscape that I know could spark fresh ideas. My heart is already drawn to the island, but before making any major moves, I want to feel its rhythm, experience the culture firsthand, and see if it’s where I truly belong.

For me, this isn’t just about exploring a new place. It’s about seeing if Sardinia could be a place to grow creatively, professionally, and spiritually. I want to get a sense of the daily life, the people, the traditions, and the creative energy there, hoping it might be the inspiration I need to move forward in both my writing and in life.
