Hello everyone,

My name is Isabel Aldape and I am currently a student at the University of Houston. I am on the pre-veterinary track majoring in animal science with a minor in psychology. For those who know me know I have an absolute passion for veterinary medicine. My love and fascination for animals continues to grow every single day ever since I was just a little girl!

I have recently been accepted into Safari4U, a veterinary program based in Chinsta East, South Africa. This summer I plan to travel there and participate in this life-changing experience! Safari4U is a program designed for students interested in veterinary medicine and wish to explore the variety of fields in the career. While studying in Chinsta I will have the opportunity to study a wildlife, large animals, and small animals. Not only will I get the opportunity to make an impact on animals in disadvantaged communities, but I will also gain some of the best hands-on experience any pre-vet student could ask for.

However, the only thing in the middle of me and South Africa are finances. I need $3500 to assist me with flights, clinic support, accommodations, and the program fee. Participating in this program would be an invaluable experience for me as an aspiring veterinarian and animal lover and will also provide myself with experience needed when applying for vet school.
