My Travel Story

Hi I am Abi i'm 17 years old and my dream job is to be a veterinarian. I have always loved being around animals and I am very passionate about helping them and making a difference. This experience will allow me to get hands on work with a new range of animals and will widen my knowledge and develop my veterinary skills, helping me towards my future career. This trip allows me to shadow top vets and understand their day-to-day life, learning about the ups and downs of the job. This trip interests me as I will being shadowing vets who go to rehabilitation centres and will help care for the animals there. They also treat and save wildlife such as lion, rhino, elephant, cheetah and more. This project helps support one of the largest natural intact ecosystems in Africa and I will be helping the animals in one of the world most important conservation areas, the great Kruger National Park.
