Help Alyssa Study in Korea!
My Travel Story
As this is my first study abroad opportunity, I am excited to immerse myself in a new culture and deepen my knowledge of Korean. Through this experience, I hope to not only improve my language skills but also gain a better understanding of Korean and Japanese society, art, and history.
As a student at NC State studying Industrial Engineering, this program will allow me to develop my STEM skills by exploring engineering from a different country’s perspective. The opportunity to learn from diverse approaches to problem-solving and innovation will be invaluable as I continue my studies and pursue a career in engineering. This experience will not only enhance my technical skills but also broaden my global outlook and ability to collaborate across cultures.
However, as many of you know, traveling can be quite expensive, and as a student, the costs add up quickly. I am hoping to raise funds to cover essential expenses such as travel, accommodation, and program fees, which will allow me to focus fully on my studies and personal growth during my time abroad.
Korea and Japan have been lifelong dreams of mine, and this trip represents a major step outside my comfort zone. It will help me grow both as a person and as a global citizen. Any contribution, no matter how small, would be deeply appreciated and make a meaningful impact on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Thank you so much for your support and for helping me make this dream a reality!
