My Travel Story

Hi all,

Firstly thank you for even viewing my page and taking the time to read my page/story.

Going to the Dominican Republic and being a part of this amazing organisation (gapmedics) will really impact my education and my future career as a doctor because not only will it be something amazing to put on my CV that sets me apart from other medical applicants, but it will allow me to get real hands on experience in the field that I want to pursue which is so important because it give me a chance to see first hand what I will be training for at uni.

Coming from South East London, specifically Lewisham, I don't have the greatest chance of getting into medical school or have access to all of the opportunities that other people do (I'm looking at you private school kids). However, this will go a really long way in boosting my chances and hopefully allow me to rep Lewisham with the best of them one day. 

So, thank you so much for reading my story and allowing me to ramble about my dream. Medicine is something that I feel really passionately about and really hope to do in he future.
