My Travel Story

Firstly hello, my name is Bethany Katelyn Hoyles or more commonly know as Beth and I would like to introduce you and to myself.

So, let’s start with the basics, Who am I? I am a 21yrs old female born and raised in New Zealand, mainly in the small town of Lake Taupo. I am the middle child of three girls my elder sister (Rebekah) being 24 and my younger sister (Grace) being 15yrs old. I LOVE the outdoors anything from a simple picnic in the park to several days/weeks hiking in the bush. I am often described as a ‘jack of all trades’ meaning, I go from competing in claybird shooting comps, army cadets and police cactus fitness programmes to a part time ballet teacher and production co-coordinator. People are my passion; I have a genuine interest in people especially in children.

Nothing brings me more joy then my Saturday morning Ballet classes of 20+ 3-5yr old students. During our classes I have the natural ability to adapt my classes to the style of each child. I have a huge amount of patience when it comes to kids, this being evident in my various ballet classes and hockey coaching where I would be the soul instructor for roughly 15 students at a time, maintaining, channelling and devolving their attention. Long story short, I love children especially watching and supporting them grow.
