Internship in Florence, Italy
My Travel Story
'Seeking discomfort' is what I think of when interning or studying abroad, I learned of this from a YouTube channel called "Yes Theory." Seeking discomfort means making memories by doing something that gets you out of your comfort zone. Most people might not notice it, but the best memories are often made when you are doing something that you had no intention of doing. It can also be when you face your fears like skydiving or flying on a plane for the first time and interning abroad is mine.
Fashion is my passion, which is why I chose Florence for my location. Florence is known for fashion and working in this amazing city with a fashion company will give me incredible knowledge of the industry to further my career. Fashion has always interested me because you can be who you are in what you wear. Everyone is different and likes different things, and no one has the same style. Fashion is very important to the world because without fashion, things like colors, patterns, tones, vision, silhouettes, and textures are all taken away. These things make up how we express ourselves to the world. As much as I want to do this internship, I am nervous because I don't know how I am going to pay for it without the help of scholarships.
