My Travel Story

I am fundraising for a semester abroad in Spain! It would be an amazing opportunity if I could go, and my first time in another country. It’s also a great way for me to practice my Spanish.

I'm in my Junior year of high school and trying to do everything I can to have my college application stand out. I am trying to get into Duke University for International Affairs and Economics, and I feel experiencing something like studying abroad will help strengthen my interest. (Duke is currently providing full tuition to low-income household students and this is my opportunity to stand out in applications and increase my chances of getting in. I already have the average Duke student’s academic stats but not extracurricular wise)

 I've grown up speaking Spanish but have been losing my fluency as I've gotten older so going to Spain would also be an awesome opportunity to practice my Spanish!

I am fundraising for this trip to support my funds that I've already saved from work. Going to Spain has always been a dream of mine and any donation is appreciated!!
