This program will benefit from the supervision and technical support of territorially competent forest districts, which ensure the supply of shrubs and guarantee short-term training for the benefit of association members on appropriate planting techniques and Steps to take to care for plantings during the warm season.

In this context, a tree planting and cleaning campaign was organized on Saturday in the "El Khezna" forest in Bologhine, to transform it from an anarchic landfill into a green space and a natural place of relaxation for residents. of the neighborhood, in the presence of local authorities and representatives of various public establishments, local security forces and several associations.

Participants in this campaign also contributed to the planting of more than 300 shrubs of different forest species produced at the Benaknoun nursery and certain species of fruit trees, in addition to the organization of another cleaning campaign aimed at instill the culture of the green economy among younger generations.

Furthermore, and as part of the planting campaigns during the 2023-2024 season aimed at creating green spaces, a planting campaign was organized in the commune of Bourouba, under the supervision of the Directorate of Forests and Green Belt of the wilaya of Algiers represented by the constituency of Dar El Beida.

The tree planting operation in which local authorities, sports clubs and wilaya establishments took part, saw the organization of educational awareness workshops aimed at establishing environmental culture in society and raise awareness of the importance of the green belt, while teaching participants good planting practices and methods of preserving planted shrubs in the face of climate change.
