Dear Friends,

My name is Doaa Numan, and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit. It has been over a decade since I last saw my beloved parents, who now reside in Egypt after fleeing the war-torn city of Gaza. During this time, I have married and become a mother to two wonderful children, Zain (7 years old) and Taim (2 years old). While my life has been blessed with the joy of my family, the pain of being separated from my parents has been a constant shadow over my heart.
My parents, aged 78 and 67, have endured unimaginable hardships over the years. They finally managed to escape the dangers of Gaza and are now in Egypt, where they urgently need medical care. Despite the many challenges they face, their greatest wish is to see me and meet their grandchildren for the first time. This reunion is not just a desire; it is a deep, aching need for all of us.
The years apart have been filled with heartache and struggle. I long to hold my parents, to feel their comforting embrace, and to introduce them to my children, who have only known their grandparents through stories and video calls. I want to give my parents the joy and peace that comes with being surrounded by family, especially in their twilight years.
To make this reunion possible, I need your help. The cost of travel, including transportation, airfare, and meals for a 10-day trip, is beyond my current means. I am reaching out to you, kind-hearted strangers and friends, to help me bridge this financial gap and bring our family together. Currently, I am not working and cannot afford the expenses required for this journey, including travel tickets, border crossings, and other associated costs.

    I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to follow up on my previous appeal for help to reunite with my parents after more than 10 years of separation. Despite my initial hopes, I have not yet received any donations, and my need for support remains as urgent as ever.

    As a reminder, my elderly parents, who are 78 and 67 years old, managed to escape the conflict in Gaza and are now in Egypt. They desperately need medical care and the comfort of family. I long to be there with them, to provide the emotional support they need and to finally introduce them to my two young children, Zain (7 years old) and Taim (2 years old).
