My Travel Story

I am a clinical mental health intern. I served in the US Army and have been diagnosed with PTSD. Throughout my journey in life, I realized that VA healthcare does not have the best counselors, as I was a patient and my USMC dad. After almost becoming a 22, surviving, I found my will to live was to help other veterans. I am coming to the end of my master's degree (in my internship) and struggling to make ends meet with my travels. I will continue to persevere throughout my career and show others it is okay to be vulnerable and ask for help. 
I am passionate about working with other veterans, as a veteran, because we speak more to each other than those who have not experienced the same trials.
