My girlfriend and I have been together for almost ten years. Over thise ten years our lives and careers took us in wild directions. For a time we wer eliving in New York, and after that our careers took us to different parts of the world all the while talking to each other almost every day.  

 Finally we settled down and it feels like the time to pop the question, but I want it to be really perfect. Both of our families live across the country and we have never really been able to get everyone together in a meaningful way. Family is particularly important to both of us and it would mean the world to them if they were there to see it. My girlfriend used to work for Disney Cruisline and she's always wanted to do the cruise with her family and mine. 

To me it's a perfect chance to propose and while I've never  done this before i humbly ask anyone willing to donate to help me make the perfect proposal.
