Support a Humble Student on an Exchange Semester!
My Travel Story
My name is Roxy, and I am nominated by the University of Toronto to go on a semester exchange in Australia. Australia is well known for its human biology programs, and the University of Melbourne offers courses that align with neuroscience, my current specialization, which is highly regarded internationally. I wish to foster relationships with like-minded people who are also passionate about neuroscience, physiology, or just biology in general and experience the local lifestyle as well.
A little bit about my financial situation: My father is the main breadwinner in the family, and he earns below average per month. My mother has been unemployed since she has had to take care of my grandparents full-time. My grandmother is in the last stage of Alzheimer's disease and suffers from serious health issues such as internal bleeding, severe weight loss, oral diseases, incontinence, etc. My grandfather suffers from mobility issues such as osteoarthritis and vision impairments from a clogged tear duct. I also have a sibling who is also in university and stays with Christian pastors of a local church.
I appreciate any funding available, as my family will not be able to afford the whole study abroad experience under such financial constraints. Now I can only dream of this experience in my head, and you are the one who can help me live it out! Your investment can only pay off from here!
