I am embarking on this journey to enrich the lives of children in Kenya. I am extremely passionate about volunteering my time and my skills to those in need. I hope to grow spiritually and to make meaningful connections with the locals as well as the other volunteers. But mostly to share my love with the beautiful children of Kenya. This trip is important because it comes in a time where there is so much hate and evil in this world. We must come to together as one to help lift each other and motivate each other whenever possible. While in Kenya, I will be working with other volunteers in a childcare program. The aim of the Childcare project in Kenya is to provide much-needed assistance in childcare centers in Kenya which can host between 15 and 100 children at any one time. Due to the high incidences of illness and poverty in Kenya, the centers are always busy and there is a high demand for volunteer assistance. Childcare volunteers in Kenya can expect to help out with the day-to-day operations of a range of pre-schools, baby day care centers and children’s homes, some of which house and foster abandoned and orphaned children. I am extremely motivated to use my resources to better the lives of these children and to share all my love with them. Every donation is one step
closer to bettering the lives of Kenyan children.
