I have often worked for what I want. I worked many hours at Arby's while attending high school, and saved everything I got so I would be able to go to college. I've worked hard as a campaign worker knocking on thousands of doors, working 80 hour weeks, and moving up the ranks to a leadership position on a local campaign. Most of my money went towards college and housing. I don't like to ask for money because that is just not the kind of person I am. I am way more likely to raise money for someone else than myself, so this feels a little strange. I work hard for what I want, and I will continue to work hard in France. I just need a little help.

All my life, I have wanted to visit another country. As a kid, I often read books and watched videos on world issues in hopes I could help others. I was that strange kid who would go sit on Santa's lap and ask for world peace. Essentially, helping others everywhere has been my lifelong passion. I believe Sciences Po in France would be a great opportunity to expand upon my understanding of global issues and open up a whole new world through the study of French.
