My Travel Story

It's a long story!  My goodness!  Well, my husband fell ill 2 years ago.  There just have been so many health problems with him.  In and out of hospitals and skilled nursing homes.  Currently, he is home but is bedridden and has been for close to 1 year now!  He is so close to being able to stand!  It's just a matter of time now! In the meantime, I have been doing everything, from cooking to cleaning, to taking out the trash, tending to my two dogs, taking care of him, cleaning up after him (I won't get into detail on that!) and I need a vacation so bad!  My sister is going on vacation at the end of November and asked me to go with her, which I plan on doing because I KNOW, in my heart of hearts, my husband will be at least standing, pivoting and transferring!!  That is all that really needs to happen, though I am POSITIVE that he will be walking by then!  I am stoked about going and getting away from everything and just having time for me!  No dishes, no laundry, no cooking, no cleaning!  Just me and my sister and the beach!  Mind you, I am disabled, but where there is a will, there is a way for me to get on that beach with my walker!  :)  LOL!  I would love to be able to pay my own way on this trip!  She has done so much for us over thees past two years and I would like to be able to pay for the gas and food and attractions, at the very least but I am on disability and everything we get, goes towards bills!  If you would like to help a broken, beat up woman, have a fun week without any distractions, then you have come to the right place!  Will you please consider helping me by donating to my vacation fund?  I would be so grateful to you!  It would mean me keeping my sanity!!  LOL!!
