My Travel Story

In March, I am going out to Kenya with the University of Southampton as part of my PGCE to volunteer as a primary school teacher. This is a huge opportunity for myself and will give me an insight into the difference in education in Kenya compared to the education children have here in the UK. By going to Kenya, I am hoping to make a difference to the children who live there because every child deserves quality education. This is also a great experience for my own teaching career and I believe that I will truly appreciate the opportunities that I have been given in my educational career.
