Mike is no ordinary dog; he's a delightful blend of Labrador, Pitbull, and Hound, brimming with charisma and an insatiable love for adventure. His presence lights up any room, and his boundless affection has a way of melting hearts.
In December 2023, tragedy struck when a reckless driver carelessly plowed through our peaceful neighborhood in Upper Hill. Despite my frantic efforts to shield him, Mike suffered a devastating injury to his back right leg, leaving him with a ruptured ACL. I bore witness to the entire heart-wrenching incident, yet the driver refuses to acknowledge their responsibility.
Despite the challenges, Mike's spirit remains unbroken. His zest for life is undiminished, but the burden of his medical expenses weighs heavily on me. While I've managed to cover his ongoing care, the looming cost of surgery threatens to derail our hopes for a full recovery.
