My Travel Story

Hi, thank you for visiting my fundraising page. My name is Molly and in July 2019 I’m travelling to Nakuru in Kenya with African Adventures on a volunteering trip of a lifetime. Whilst there, I will be volunteering in a local primary school helping to rebuild the school, and providing valuable teaching and support for young children.

The trip will provide me with the opportunity to experience and appreciate different cultures and the way people live. It will allow me to help and contribute to the lives of others in a way that is truly rewarding.

I recognise that I’ve had a really great upbringing and I want to be able to give something back to others, to help in other communities, to have a truly life-changing experience.

To raise funds for my trip I will be:
  • Running the New Forest 5k in September
  • Making button jewellery and Christmas decorations through ‘Molly Made It’ and selling these through craft fairs locally
  • Babysitting and nanny services
  • Dog walking
  • Working in a local coffee shop
  • And more to follow
