My Travel Story

Hey, thank you for taking the time to read about my trip!

Well, I grew up just a hop skip and jump away from Manhattan. I loved growing up near the Big Apple. It's hard to get bored and very easy to stay motivated and inspired. After graduating HS, I continued my education and earned my degree in Psychology with a minor in Child Advocacy and Policy. I interrupted my studies after 2 years to participate in an Exchange Program in Newcastle, England. Study abroad has changed my life for the better. It was the best decision I've ever made. 3 months after graduation, I moved back to England to volunteer full- time as a Special Needs Support Worker. That experience gave me the best experience meeting the most special students. I returned home this past August to the sunshine state.

Fast forward to today, I'm looking for my next challenge. I am so excited to plan a trip that gives me the opportunity to teach English in the Czech Republic. I have a passion for traveling and teaching so being able to combine them, allows me to live my dreams while giving back.

I'm so proud to work with children now which will allow me to save up towards my trip before October. My trip involves many expenses, such as obtaining my Visa, Attending Czech language courses, etc.
