My Travel Story

Freshman year has come and gone, and I am pleased to say that I have had a strong academic year. Now it is time for sophomore year to begin, and I have been accepted to study abroad for my Fall 2018 semester! As a psychology major I believe that  there is so much to learn not only from those in  your own culture but, from those who have a culture different from your "normal". While Europe is not a huge leap from American culture, I still believe that there are a plethora of questions I can get answers to, from a different perspective. At this point in our culture as an American society I think now is an important time to understand people of different cultures and learn from such experience. To me studying abroad is bringing me one step closer to my goal of understanding and acceptance.
