My Travel Story

I had the pleasure of travelling to Ghana in the Winter of 2015. I had never left the country before and honestly rarely left the state of Colorado. Remembering, I was a sophomore with limitations about how I wanted to see the world and how I thought the world would be. A lot can change in 2 years, including me running through majors and finally ingraining my energies into Women's Studies. Women's studies and Ethnic Studies at Colorado State, have discover my own politics and change my view on how I receive people. This upcoming winter I will be going to Ghana again, older, enlightened, and ready to engage in community and experience this great country different than I did before. I have been selected to be apar of the leadership team and hope to help others on their journey as well.
